Here it is, the 18th festive KUMB best albums thread.

Here are the rules:

You can pick your favourite 10 albums in order, from 1st to 10th.

The scoring will be the same as the last couple of years, so:

Remember to avoid compilations and anything released prior to this year.

You can post them on this thread or PM me.

If you list 10 records and you say they are in no particular order then I'll give them all 5 points each. If you list less than 10 I'll give the middle one 5 and adjust the ones above and below it accordingly, eg if you list a top 5 I'll give them 7, 6, 5, 4 and 3 points respectively. If you list more than 10 like some people usually do, I'll only count the top 10.

EPs are fine if they're longish, as many are these days.No reissues or rereleases, Various Artist albums are ok if they are new material (e.g. a label showcase).

And so, with thanks as always to eddiecurry for laying the foundations and running the poll for many years, here are the KUMB Top 20s for every year since 2005.

Last year, we had the first ever tie, as classic metal and breakbeat-infused techno locked horns at the top of the chart. Irritatingly, Little Simz, Damon Albarn and 'Pharoah' (sic) Saunders all polluted the chart with grammatical errors, so let's hope there's none of that sort of thing this time round.

Looking through the list on Wikipedia though, I was pleasantly surprised to see Erasure and A-Ha still producing new material.
