Quite poetic that Suarez ended his international career crying against Ghana in the World Cup.

How on earth to various pundits call that a penalty? Mates of Cavani?

Never a penalty. He engineered contact.

The referees generally have been excellent. Much better than PL standard.

Uruguay must be one of the most despicable nations in the footballing world. When I was a wee lad I used to have a soft spot for them, not sure why, but thinking back they always had someone to do the dirty work. Now they all seem to be plain dirty.
