WC of WH Players: Round 2 Group F
Please vote for whichever player you like best, using the poll, which will be added shortly. They don't have to be the best at football, just your favourite, the player you have good memories of etc. The thread can also be a good place to discuss the players.
Form guide: In the first round, Brooking crushed all before him with a mighty 88% of the vote, and Parker (46) was also never worried against Benayoun (13) and co. McAvennie won his group, but with the smallest winning vote of the round (24, against 12 by both Peters and Reid). George Parris, however, came through by only 2 votes against John Hartson.
TREVOR BROOKING
GEORGE PARRIS
FRANK McAVENNIE

It would be a travesty if Sir Trev didn’t make it through. Lovely player to watch and one of a kind.
KH, typo on Frank.

Very, very easy one this. I reckon it's Sir Trev by a landslide.

Scott Parker was a good, solid professional and I liked him when he was with us.
Georgie took no s*** and always gave his all and was very well liked.
Frankie’s boots were made of gold and him and TC were scoring for fun in that wonderful season. He loved the champagne and the ladies and we loved him.
However, Sir Trevor Brooking, Geno, Hadleigh or whatever you want to call him, what can I say, the love for Trev is enduring. I remember several years ago when we were still at Upton Park and I had taken my parents who were then in their 70’s then and my Mum went all giddy because Trev brushed past her, she still loved him as I do.
I will be gutted/amazed if Trev isn’t in the Final alongside his old mucker, Billy Bonds.

Love all four. Georgie a cult hero. Macca the emblem for THAT season. Parker carried us for years. None of them can be spoken of in the same breath as Trev.
Dev yesterday. Trev today. Still inseparable. I feel blessed to have watched their partnership for years.

Yes. Hopefully, the journey is as much fun as the destination.
