Croatia simply outclassed. Too often caught on the break, unable, until this last 5, to.penetrate Arg defence and too many long shots simply blocked.

Massive changes will be made to that Croatian team, specially the defence and maybe the overall style of play. Messi...wow

When he scored I was imaging it was Gary McAllister for a brief second :D
There's a whole Welsh community in Argentina too.

That was nearly as good as Argentina v Croatia at Upton Park in November 2014 :winker:
The only time I have seen Messi play in real life.
Still got the video on my phone of the penalty that he scored that night.

loads of English, Italians etc all throughout South America. building railroads and mining etc.

saw an article one time, can't quite find it now, but they have Cornish pasties in some South American countries.

found one article about them in Mexico.

A trace of Cornwall in Mexico

The Cornish influence goes beyond mining and the pasty. The poignant Panteon de los Ingles—a 20-acre plot of land in Real del Monte, deeded by the Mexican federal government to provide consecrated grounds for the burial of Cornish Protestants, today houses 755 tombs. The Acosta Mine in Real del Monte, closed in 1985, reopened as a museum in 2001, narrating the story of Mexico’s Celtic cousins. And last, but not least, the Cornish miners brought football—Mexico’s most popular sport. Pachuca Football Club is one of the oldest in the Americas.

Noble was top class at taking a penalty but 90% surprises me aswell.

can't believe anyone switched off.

thought it had loads of stuff going for it, unfortunately Croatia caught Argentina on the day Messi decided that he was going to the final come what may.

and the other bloke who Pep just got, Alvarez is it ? gave a clinic on how to finish. yes, he got a couple of lucky bounces but finished well..

the third goal, a piece of absolute magic from Messi...
