It was my lucky claret underpants that brought us the victory at Kidderminster. I changed into them around the 92nd minute mark having soiled my original ones a bit earlier and I didn't have them when we played Oxford and Wimbledon

F*** sake, wear them next time! I’ll hold your undercrackers responsible if we don’t win on Monday.

Welcome DR, Derby a good old English team . I noticed he mentioned fitness and never give up attitude ! We are in for a hard game for sure.
Thanks for the welcome. Yes, one of the 12 founders of the football league no less…
Wel-Kumb Andrew, good to get your perspective on the game mate. Some of our best forum transfers have been fans of other clubs, (I'm looking at you Misko).
Hope it will be a cracker & a win for us though or this forum will go into meltdown..!
Hope you enjoy the game with your family regardless of the result & give us a personal opposition view on Monday night/Tuesday...

Tough all round I think, but I hope a good one.
Andrew
Welcome to the forum DerbyRam.
I played youth football against your manager. He was, quite literally, leagues ahead of everyone on the park...even at 15/16. Luckily, he was in the middle and I was out on the wing so managed to avoid him most times! He is a top bloke.
9 days since our last game, 5 to the next, absolutely no reason not to start a full strength team. If we are 2 or 3 up with 20 to go use the 5 subs, but lose this with a weakened side, do nothing else in the window and the club send totally negative messages to players and fans in advance of a series of games that probably define the season. Conversely beat Derby, bring a couple in Tuesday and we all travel to Newcastle with confidence, this is not a time for retreat!
Interesting you played against Warne, I can’t honestly say that I ever saw him play. I personally like the bloke, he has real character, and is in my mind a very intelligent guy. His interviews on the radio after the a game are always honest and up front.
I will certainly put my post match thoughts on here.
Regarding Rice, I hope he plays, my lad really wants to see him.
Someone on the DCFC forum posted this, was too young to be there, but Derby had quite the team back then…

Welcome aboard DerbyRam.
What system are your boys likely to play on Monday ?
I thought I'd even the score up with this clip. Astonishing goal from Liam Brady. He was some player.
