⚽ West Ham Utd 1-1 Chelsea (11/2/23)

After my last thread starting was the Everton one I felt I should start this!

Felix will play for them I guess. For us I would be tempted to leave Benny out I think he is a better sub maybe use Pablo

Saturday morning do whatever you need to do to get ready for this one....have a lie in, go for a run, avocado on toast, greasy fry up, couple of coffees, quick livener in The Carpenters....

We need that place jumping like the two away ends have been this week!!!

Too early for me. I should be waking up just around the time the final whistle is blown.

I want to win this fixture more than any other, but I reckon another draw is coming.

No idea if Scamacca or Zouma are back for this or if Cornet is still alive.

The Newcastle game would have given us a lift. It would have reminded the players that they're more than a match for the higher placed teams. It's what we needed. I think we have a real chance. We do need the front three to up their game a little though.

Turned them over with a back 3 and Arthur last time. We’ll do the same with a back 3 and Emerson this time.

This will be the most difficult game for a while.

They'll must start winning, or plenty of their lot will have to find other teams come summer.

Chelsea and Liverpool are the top teams I’d take at the drop of a hat at home. Both on a slippery slope of **** form where as we appear to be in the up. Paqueta and Emerson will dazzle and Bowen and Ings will zing. 3-0 to the massive :scarfer:

Thought Johnson did enough in his half tonight to keep his place in a three at the back if Zouma is still out.

Potter simply benefitted from our Brighton curse.

Nothing can protect him from our massiveness now.

We finally seem to have a line up we’re fairly happy with.

Only decisions are Kehrer/Johnson and Fornals/Benrahma.

Personally would be tempted to bring in Johnson but keep Benrahma.

Same team for me, maybe Johnson over Kerher.

Benrahma to start, he may be frustrating but at least his first thought is to go forward, something that Fornals/Lanzini lack

I can't help feeling that he really isn't the right fit there.
Don't think he's going to be there a long time.

I have a horrible feeling PGMOL will circle the wagons and protect that massive "investment" into their league.

My gut says a top performance from us only to come away with f*** all from this one. My head says we'll draw at least.

If we continue with the same energy as against Newcy I'll be happy either way
