Enjoyed the evening out ,football was good although it was against a poor team you can only beat what’s in front of you.
Moyes being positive in selection ,tactics and substitutions and of course seeing a few youngsters getting a run out and one of them scoring which is always good to see.
A decent crowd with lots of youngsters in the crowd enjoying it ,none more than my 2 grandsons who managed to get themselves on the big screen, they always know where the camera is.

Honestly, if Kehrer had put in the performance Johnson did in the first half last night his thread would be at the top of the forum with people coating him off. Misjudged headers, weak attempts at tackles, and some kind of weird attempt to control a ball with his stomach that let them in.Ethanadict wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 8:09 am Johnson was ok but a bit nervous at times. I hope the second half helped him build his confidence.
One of his worst games for us.

Good evening out like others have said.
The only negative for me was the half time DJ.

Official attendance 40,482.
That's a very good turn out considering it was a bit of a dead rubber.

I know many who didn't go and their ticket was basically not used.

Standing there waiting for ko last night I did look around and think this could very well be what the bowl will look like next season if we get relegated.
No thanks, final/cup win and PL survival please Mr Moyes.

I noticed that Mubama pronounced his first name 'Divan'. I bet he's still walking on air today.
The BBC match report is quite good. It mentioned something that a few on here did last night, that Freddie Potts was reminiscent of Rice in midfield. Here's hoping.

Need to get Lanzini back in the side for the league matches. We played some nice stuff, good to watch. Man City fans must feel like this every week.

BT Sport remarked on it too. Once they mentioned it I couldn't help noticing it myselfJohnny Byrne's Boots wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 12:07 pm I noticed that Mubama pronounced his first name 'Divan'. I bet he's still walking on air today.

I'm sure a little bit of him dies inside, each time he has to do the crossed hammers / pointy finger dance.chelmsfordhammer91 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 10:06 am Good evening out like others have said.

Not what he had in mind as part of being an international DJ superstar, playing 30K+ people, most of whom wished he was unplugged.

It's been that long since Lanzini last started games, his hair's turned grey.

The worrying part is that this was against probably league one standard opposition and he was STILL awfulYorksHammer wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 9:58 am Honestly, if Kehrer had put in the performance Johnson did in the first half last night his thread would be at the top of the forum with people coating him off.
