Langstaff scores his 40th goal of the season for Notts County, I wonder if he'll be the next Jamie Vardy.

Bar two world class saves from the French keeper we could have beaten them.DublinDave wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2023 10:41 pm I thought Ireland gave a very good account of themselves tonight against the WC finalists.
I have to look at the positives like...
Even the ball hitting their defenders arm would be a penalty in the Prem.
What pleased me most was Ireland are now playing a real proper passing game and are becoming a handful for even the top teams.
The style of football is lovely to watch again.

Yeah. Don't think even Scotland would take Moyes and his Jurasic football now

Spain need to have a proper review of themselves after this. If only there was a word for it

This needs to go right to the top. I’d start with the Prime Minister.chelmsfordhammer91 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 28, 2023 9:12 pm Spain need to have a proper review of themselves after this. If only there was a word for it

Re: Internationals week
Spain made eight changes for this game from the Norway match the other day. I know its a new boss in charge and he probably wants to cast his eye on as many players as possible, but it does suggest he hasn't treated Scotland with the respect they deserve.

Worst Spain side on paper I can recall for a long time. 33yo Joselu who was abysmal for Stoke and Newcastle starting up top? Bizarre… other Prem failures Ceballos and Merino starting in midfield.prophet:marginal wrote: ↑Tue Mar 28, 2023 9:26 pm Not meaning to belittle the sweaties' achievement, but I don't recognise half the Spain line up
