it is all about attitude and how we decide to play the game. surely moyes wont go ultra cautious and hope to stay in the game.
we need to be up for this both crowd and team.
this is the easiest game we have left and we must win it. failure to do so and I think we will be going down.
3 games next week will I feel decide our fate two home games we need to win and pick up a draw at fulham. 7 pts would really change things at the club.

It's permissible because we are going through a transition period with some bad players, yet still making latter stages of European cups.

A transition period, 15 months of less than a point a game playing the most negative football I've ever seen us play in 50 years. It's unacceptable not permissable!

it is not acceptable that a team like this is playing so badly and shows little signs of changing after 14 months of relegation form.
we should be top 10 at least. we are a big club with a huge fanbase. 62500 tickets sold every match for the dross moyes serves up.
moyes should have gone during the WC break but it is too late now.

we cant even do the basics right ! we are pitiful at corners,freekicks and throw ins. our pattern of play is slow slow sideways backwards launch forward towards bowen on the wing. we have a 33 year old antonio leading the line most games and he should no longer be starting matches, moyes has failed to integrate scamacca paqueta downes properly. moyes couldnt get a tune out of haller and we got rid at a loss; he`s doing ok now. same will happen with scamacca if moyes stays; sold for 20m.

to say we are in transition is a lie we have been a mess for over a year and moyes should have been sacked.

I hope we win because if we lose on sunday where do we go then ? benitez ? no thanks

What unique skills does Scamacca have that make him suitable against Southampton but not Newcastle or Fulham? What if he scores a hat trick against Southampton?

Why is Ings only good enough to start against Fulham but not the other 2?

none of the forwards have been great so thats why the rotation. bviously if someone scores a hattrick I would expect them to start the next one but you never know with moyes.

antonio is a fading star and cant perform like he did, I doubt he will complete a full match. ideally he is a last 25 mins sub.

Disagree. In what is likely to be a tight match, I want a striker who can finish. We shouldn’t need what Antonio gives us in terms of an out ball etc against Southampton at home.

Ings for me unless Scamacca is fully fit. Play our better passers of the ball and all will be well.

Yep we don't want this to just be a scrap.
Try to get some control of the game by using the ball.
Bring on Soucek when they bring on the huge lad.

Hopefully Fornals or Downes come in with Rice and Paqueta.
Ideally Fornals as Downes and Paqueta will probably give away too many free kicks between them.

People have used this as an explanation for his great game against AEK, but I'm not convinced. He was one of our best midfielders a couple of years ago, so he can thrive in the Premier League when he's confident and in form.

Either his confidence and form is returning, which would be amazing, or he just had a good game against AEK. Either way, I think he deserves a start for it.
