That oppo view sums up why them and Spurs supporters are laughed at so often, muggy c****.

They might have thought their team eased off, but after the penalty and even up until the goal we were aggressive in the press, played balls into good areas and caused them problems. I got sick of Shy focusing on everything they thought Arsenal did wrong rather than focus on why we got back in the game, we battered them second half.

Whereas I'm still aware we have our own 'issues' to worry about, the Arsenal fans reaction to the game has been wonderful entertainment. I've been watching some of their youtube stuff, it's compelling seeing the anger, from 'We threw it away' to 'VAR and the FA have been against them all season', ' they don't want us to win the league' type of bollox.

Yep it's not like they eased off late in the game and got caught.
We scored on 33 mins. They had an hour and weren't up for a fight.

First ten mins were very hard to watch.
They cut through us at will and although they are a decent side, it was way too easy.

That said, from around the 30min mark, we actually pulled our socks up, took the handbrake off and gave it a go... and how refreshing it was too!

The point may or may not prove to be of great value to us (not as valuable as the two points dropped will for them for sure), but the performance and effort the team showed from being 2 down and written off should certainly help us to kick on and finish the season well.

Special mentions to Coufal, Rice, Antonio and Bowen for their effort levels. Paqueta not far behind too.
Special mentions to Kehrer and Paqueta for proving me (and many others no doubt) wrong and finally putting in a display explaining how they have become internationals.
Special mention to Cresswell for a very professional and experienced display.

"I don’t want anything to do with Declan ****ing Rice. Ridiculous signing. We need ballers, not brutes."

I thnk that may be my favourite quote from an OV ever :crylol:

Scouse like in their levels of delusion. That they can think there is some grand conspiracy against them winning the league is absolutely priceless. I used to think AFTV was extreme but it would seem to be par for the course.

At least it didn't say "I received a letter from Tarquin informing me that we drew this".

I’d like to think that if we were in their position we’d adopt a “whatever happens it’s been a great season” type mentality.

This lot are tearing strips off a young side no one expected would be anywhere near the top of the league and a manager who, despite being a massive cheating c*nt, has completely turned not just their league position around but their football too.

Terrible fans.

I clicked on an Arsenal fan's twitter to see what they were complaining about, and now the algorithm is bombarding me with Arsenal accounts. fuxake.

You just know if they signed him, this same poster would be waxing poetic about how Rice is a truly refined CDM for a more modern era…

They did take their foot off the gas when 2-0 up though. Played it like a training game.
Whether we got better or they eased off is debateable - however they should have gone for the kill rather than pass pass pass.

Easy to say in hindsight though. No one batters an eyelid if Saka scores the pen and they win 3-1 or whatever.

My opinion is they should have gone for the third - they know our weakness.
