I predicted a win today so I'm going with

Re: West Ham United vs Liverpool: match thread
I don’t think this game really matters anymore in the context of the relegation battle.
A win would be beautiful, a point massive, a defeat will just be a shrug of the shoulders.
Would maybe look at giving a couple the night off, Antonio in particular. We’re going to need him fresh and ready as we go into the last month or so.

Re: West Ham United vs Liverpool: match thread
I can see Moyes playing our strongest team for this game and possibly the Palace game to follow, before he’ll slowly start taking the odd key player out before the AZ Alkmaar game, as it’s the 2 Manchester clubs to follow after next week.
He’s not only trying to build some momentum and help with the fitness on some of the players, but he’s also trying to officially guarantee Premier League survival before all our eyes are drawn towards the Europa Conference. He wants the Premier League to no longer be a concern so he can do exactly what he did in-between the Lyon and Frankfurt games last season, which was take out the likes of Antonio, Bowen, Rice etc. to wrap them up in cotton wool. But should we make the final I suspect our strongest starting 11 will play at least 1 if not both our final 2 league games, to get some match sharpness. That’s my take on what Moyes is trying to do anyway.
I’ve been saying for a long time I fancied us for this game and I still do. I’m going for a repeat scoreline of last season’s famous win, 3-2.

Some momentum on the pitch at last.
A free hit in terms of the final reckoning.
A bright and dry evening forecast.
This has all the makings of an absolute belter of an evening at the Misery Bowl

Re: West Ham United vs Liverpool: match thread
If the West Ham of the last week turns up, we'll probably win. If the team of the preceding seventeen months turns up, we probably won't.
All we have to do is attack the acres of space where Alexander-Arnold is supposed to be standing and we'll be fine.

-----------Fabainski
Coufal-- Zouma--Aguard--Emerson
-------soucek--paquata---rice
bowen-----Antonio------Benny
only change is cresswell for me because of the pace down his side I think emerson will be better to deal with
its not a first team game anymore its a squad based on what you play against
im going for 2-2 prediction

7 nil to Liverpool
Aguerd hattrick of own goals.

A stray bullet hits Cresswell
The team coach gets stolen
