This is why the Wotld Championships is the best Snooker tournament. The long matches always are never over to they are over.
5 frames on the spin puts Brecel back into the match at 10-14.
Si showing understandable nerves.

Ridiculous comments. If you do it, fine. But just shut up about it. Not exactly good advertising for snooker as a sport.WHU Independent wrote: ↑Thu Apr 27, 2023 5:32 pm Amazing and shockng tbh.

This WC also shows why Brecel still has a lot to do to be up there. he blows hot & cold much too often.
I hope Si wins the lot, but I doubt it very much. Selby will just drain the life and spark out of either Si or Brecel and they won't be able to compell a break over 50 anymore by Monday.

Re: Snooker: Cazoo World Championship 2023
Brecel comeback keeps on going, won the first 2 frames of the session and now only trails by 2, 12-14.
Plus at the table on a break of 68 in the next.

Going to be quite controversial here, but am I alone in finding Dennis Taylor very annoying when he is commentating?
Edit, 10 on the bounce for Brecel. Now leading 15-14. Amazing stuff.

Congratulations to Brecel on a truly remarkable comeback. Reached his first World Championship first with a 17-15 victory over Si amazing stuff.
Talking of Si, only 20. He has a very bright future in the game. Will do very well snd only get better.

Always comes off as trying to hatd, plus I find him very creepy. Hated the fact he introduced Allen yesterday by mentioning that he had lost 6 stone. Allen of course may be fine with him doing that but I'm sure not everyone one would be.

Plus, I found it particularly embarrassing when he was out there helping to clean up the table after that protester had covered it in orange dust. I always get the feeling that he's the sort of bloke that'll do anything to keep his job and be around the players who don't really want him there in the first place.

Because he loses the plot more often than not on the mental front. His attitude stinks as well. I think he finally turned the corner on the second part. Not sure on the first part. We'll find out in the next two days.Eggs'n'nuts wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 4:59 pm Brecel is unbelievable!

He looks like a genuine decent chap to me. Still remember his post match interview with Gilbert after his semi final defeat against Higgins. He was almost in tears himself and tried to cheer him up.brothernero wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 6:25 pm Oh my god yes times 1000. Can't stand the bloke.

Re: Snooker: Cazoo World Championship 2023
I’ve mentioned before on a different thread, I know someone who was a snooker pro years ago. This was when Davis, Thorburn, Big Bill, etc were dominating the game. My friend used to be a practice partner with Willie Thorne, both from Leicester. His opinion of Dennis Taylor was “complete and utter w*nker, arrogant and got worse after he won the world championship.brothernero wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 4:19 pm Going to be quite controversial here, but am I alone in finding Dennis Taylor very annoying when he is commentating?
