Same starting eleven with double training sessions for all 11 today, tomorrow and early Saturday morning. Love Sargent Moyes.

Play anything like we did up to Bowen’s disallowed goal and we’ll blow this lot away imo.

We're guaranteed at least 3 points a season when we play Crystal Palace, away

i just hope we haven't knackered ourselves v liverpool because we need to win this.
But at least we won't be playing 12 men.

Need to win this game. Win and we are safe and can focus on the semi final games.

Re: Crystal Palace vs West Ham United: match thread
“We’re hoping at some stage during the week both Wilf and Nathaniel Clyne will be able to join us as well, so in that respect, the squad is looking quite healthy,” Hodgson told reporters.
That quote was from two days ago, seems they are hoping to have him back for the weekend... tight turnaround if he hasn't started training yet though.

Guys, come on. There are just no minutes for the likes of Fornals, Lanzini, Downes, Cornet, and Emerson. They can't be found. Same XI. 1-2 win.

Re: Crystal Palace vs West Ham United: match thread
The return fixture was one of the worst performances I can remember (up until Brighton away).
Hopefully we can put that to bed in this one; we generally do okay at their place. It’d be good if we could find space for Fornals in this one; surprised and disappointed he didn’t feature at all last night.

Re: Crystal Palace vs West Ham United: match thread
Palace were mugged this week, at Wolves, by and large and only failed to score because the Wolves keeper was their best player.
Wolves f-l-uked themselves into the lead and then took perfect advantage of some calamitous goal-keeping right at the end of the match. For a good hour across the half-time interval, the away team were clearly dictating play.
Palace's main weakness appears to me to be that they don't have a really decent striker who knows how to time/make runs to maximise the team's potency. In both Eze and Olise, Palace have decent, technical players who dictate play from midfield. Their defence isn't too shabby either.
My worry for the weekend is that we are coming to the end of a lengthy and challenging season and a lot of our first eleven don't look like they've got the energy in their legs to run for a full 90...there was a real drop off in intensity last night, after our offisde goal was chalked off.
Winner stays up!

Get a result here, basically secure Prem status and then use the reserves for 5atb up at Man City to avoid burnout and a cricket score.
Really big game this one in the overall plan of getting to the Semis without tired players.

Nothing to fear here. This is provided we play to our potential.

Thought we looked leggy in places last night so wouldn't be adverse to a slightly tweaked starting XI

Re: Crystal Palace vs West Ham United: match thread
It's going to be a tough game as the players are looking a bit tired. I would happily take a point, but I reckon a win would see us pretty much safe.

Can we play Ings in this?Alf Garnett's (Ex) Missus wrote: ↑Thu Apr 27, 2023 11:06 am Thought we looked leggy in places last night so wouldn't be adverse to a slightly tweaked starting XI
He made zero passes and only 3 touches last night.
Did look OK vs Bournemouth though I thought.
Maybe if we started Cornet wide left. In a proper 443.
Maybe time for Fornals Cornet Bowen, rotating as a front 3.

After last night's "Handball" I reckon there's an iffy one coming our way.
1-3 to us.
