Didn't we sign a player from Forest who could play in goal as well as in midfield or am I going crazy and confusing this phantom player with Bentley? Any ideas? Must have been in one of our Championship seasons

I only remembered him playing for us because apparently he used to keep a trumpet in his locker that he used to play in the changing room when we won.

I’d completely forgotten about Jeroen Boere and that he’d passed, remember him fondly forming a partnership with Cottee towards the end of the season and helping us stay up, must of been the mid nighties because I’m sure I was either leaving school or had just left.
