Yes he did - stable in Barts, but gutted that he can't now go to Alkmaar next week.
Wife & son were with him in stadium and are hugely grateful to fan who started CPR before St Johns & paramedics arrived.

Glad he's OK.

This seems to happen a lot these days at different stadiums.

As far as I am aware he is still there as the cost to get him home plus the current medical bill is very high. Apparently there is some sort of crown funding to get him home.

Is the person in Cyprus the supporter who was reported to have been in possession of cocaine and driver testing positive for the same drug?

Yes, but with someone’s life on the line I don’t see how that is relevant or respectful.

My question has been taken out of context. I didn't hear about the accident so did a search to find out if it had been reported.
Hope he recovers obviously.

This is the latest from the lad in Cyprus following the accident. I don't know him, but was curious to see on his progress.

In fairness to our chairman, he donated £5k.

Hi Everyone,

Firstly THANK YOU SO MUCH to every single person that has been able to donate, share, talk about or message to see how Joey is and how we are as a family. It has absolutely made the challenges so far manageable.
Thanks to all your support, once Joey condition was stable we have been able to have him airlifted back to the UK.

He is now is a local hospital where he will continue to need treatment and rehabilitation due to the injuries sustained.

Our journey is a long way from over to get him back to the father and partner he was.

We will forever be grateful for all of the support we have received ❤️
