The club never laid on anything for the 65 or 76 European finals or indeed the intertoto final
Why should they now ?
Other than big screen TV's not having been invented in 1976 I cant think of a reason either!

The Crown will be the second best option in Billericay. Usually a bit of a younger crowd there though so a higher risk of 'dickheads'.
Should be OK for this, watched a few England games there in the World Cup and it was decent.
Coach and Horse behind Waitrose should be showing it as the Guv'nor is a ST Holder.

Easy for you to say as someone going to Prague mate.
I live in Buckinghamshire, it'll be me on my own it I stay round here.
Yeah I suppose that’s fair. I honestly think the pubs round East London are going to be rammed. I think it’s called the Abbey Tap (next to the old shopping centre), where I watched England in the Winter, absolute bedlam in there when we scored so that could be worth a go?

It's times like this when it rams home how the owners GSB have shafted us fans .
Man City will be laying something on for their fans and yet we have nothing planned and are left scratching around
SB out , one down two to go
Not so. There’s a gig on at The Etihad that night. As much as I feel sorry for you having those owners, saying City have it spot on this time is incorrect.
I don’t know about East London / Essex but most pubs around me are dead these days. Choose a good one, invite people and pack it out.

Not defending the club here, but even if we owned the stadium, we couldn't just cancel a pre-scheduled event such as the MLB game, not without a hefty lawsuit anyway, could we?
Do we know if the club has plans to put on an event elsewhere, yet, or has it been confirmed that they'll be doing nothing?
If they do nothing, that is extremely poor.
Will the club surprise us and do something? I have my doubts, its the hope that kills you.

This is true.

Haven't seen anything yet. They need to act soon, if they are to put something on. My guess is they won't.

I think Hackney Bridge might do something. They do usually show the big games, and it’s a big space with a big screen.
Keeping my eye out for that.
They do plan on showing the game.
They are having a meeting about sporting events on the big screen on Thursday, with news on events and tickets to follow.

If supporters can’t make their own arrangements pubs clubs etc then there’s something wrong.
Stratford and Plaistow and Essex will be rammed
Yes, it would be good if the club did organise something official, but I don't see why it is essential they do
just find a pub anywhere in the vicinity, or in East London or Essex and it will be lively
There will be loads of West Ham fans wherever you go
Even if you live miles away i expect there will be at least one other West Ham fan in attendance. I have watched west ham games in many random pubs around the country and there has always been at least one other supporter
Somewhere like St Albans, for example, is always rammed with Hammers. There are always west ham fans about when i have watched them in pubs in Cornwall
Plus for a European final there will be plenty of neutrals cheering them on

Me too!!! Never having been there I wonder where everyone without a ticket will meet? Are there planned fan areas?
Yes, was posted a fair few pages back but the local authorities are deciding on where they’ll recommend each set of fans go.
They’ll also be a few private events set up by people too I imagine.
Two areas of Prague have been set aside for fan zones in parks near Sparta Pragues ground. Pretty sure I read English old bill and West Ham security liaison officers were heading to Prague for a meeting this Friday to decide logistics.
Not sure if they’ll have certain areas and bars for each set of supporters to drink in, bit like they do for finals at Wembley?
Assume most sports bars and Irish pubs in Prague will be mobbed with West Ham.
