Most bizarre things you have heard shouted at a game
Around 10ish years ago (when Hull were in the prem) I was in Hull amongst the home supporters watching us play them, and a bloke kept repeating the line (with numerous variations) whenever one of their players got the ball (I forget who it was):
PUT SOME ****ing CHIP SPICE ON IT / SPICE SPICE SPICE THE ****er FFS / CHIP SPICE IT FFS etc
Must have been an inside joke that only people from Hull get, but it's up there with one of the most odd things I have heard at games. I know they put that awful chip spice powder on their chips up there, but what on earth he meant in football terms is anyones guess.
Another one was a bloke who kept shouting "PISS ON IT FOXEY" to Hayden Foxe who was warming up on the touchline.

3 Blokes in front of me kept shouting out FLYMO to Mark Dennis and when i asked them about they said that when he went in to to ask for a pay rise he was told no - so he nicked the clubs lawn mower and drove it into a river.

Had a season ticket in the Chicken Run as a kid/teenager and always found it weird when the opposition would have the ball on the wing and the shouts behind me would be "STAB HIM!"
I thought you'd certainly be sent off for that.

A bloke behind me at a league of Ireland game shouted after a useless player made yet another mistake "Go away ya ham"
Another bloke shouted " you can cure a ****ing ham "

I was watching an England game on TV in (I think) the late 90s when the camera was panning over the crowd, someone yells out "COME ON ENGLAND YOU F**KING C**TS". As clear as you could get.
Also shortly after the Madeline McCann incident someone in front of me at another England game started singing "Maddie's dad's getting 15 years".

Wasn't shouted but I was stood in the home end at Roker Park watching Sunderland vs West Ham with my Sunderland supporting mates (late 80s early 90s ish)
Guy infront of us had a long mullet. Another bloke a few along to his right, leaned back, reached across and set fire to his mullet with a lighter, then quickly resumed watching the game.
Took a while for Mullet Guy to realise. No idea why the other guy did it. Made me laugh though. Stupid really. Game must have been boring.

Bristol Rovers at home in the early 90s or thereabouts. A bloke in the Chicken Run decided to call the Pirates 'keeper an AIDS carrier.Bubbles Fortuna wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 12:19 pm Had a season ticket in the Chicken Run as a kid/teenager and always found it weird when the opposition would have the ball on the wing and the shouts behind me would be "STAB HIM!"

Someone screamed that the lino was ‘obnoxious’ once and it’s always stuck with me.
Didn’t think anyone in our away support knew what that meant.

When I was a kid watching football with my dad he used to shout all sorts at players, he'd do it on his trying not to swear but failing voice, example, "Come on ya feckin-... Roll-on..!" Never worked out what that one meant...

Re: Most bizarre things you have heard shouted at a game
I was in the chicken run one game I think it was Sunderalnd or else Sheffield United.
The game was a bit boring so I was glancing at the match programme and the headline read John Lyall searches for new Goalkeeper.
We had a corner and as the ball came over the keeper missed his punch, one of ours sent the ball rocketing towards the top corner.
Out of nowhere a centre half dived across the goal and tipped it over the crossbar. ( a penalty to us )
The minute it was tipped over the bar a bloke somewhere behind me shouts out " Sign 'im Lyall "

Re: Most bizarre things you have heard shouted at a game
I was in my regular position in the old West Stand, back in the early 70's. Think it was a match against Chelsea and Clyde Best wasn't in the side, for whatever reason, when all.of a sudden, there was a loud crunching sound from behind the stand. We all turned round, thinking what the f*** is that, when some wag shouted, " It's alright, everybody, it's only Best, finishing his lunch"

Someone was apparently shouting at Benrahma to defend when he was tearing the AZ full back a new one. I found that quite strange...
