Re: Europa League Final (31st May 8pm)
Congratulations to Mendilibar on getting 1 over on the anti-football manager Mourinho.
Took over as Sevillas 3rd manager used this season helping the Club pull away from getting dragged into a relegation battle into mid-table and winning the Europa Cup.

That’s it Jose, get them all huddled around on the pitch and make sure everyone knows it’s about you

Re: Europa League Final (31st May 8pm)
I can't say I was impressed with Roma this match. They pressed well enough first half, but second half and extra time they offered little, didn't have much from the bench, and just seemed to retreat deeper and deeper, hoping to shithouse the trophy on penalties.
Mourinho makes Moyes look positively cavalier.

Tottenham paid a large sum of money plus Erik Lamela for Gil.
Both of them played in the final today

Kindly telling them all how much they've let him down I suspect.
Good excuse for another pay-off though.

I hope our players watch those Roma players walking past that trophy and think "that will not be us, whatever happens, that will not be us"

Yeah he will look back and regret his career in football management.

Not only did we beat Sevilla, we beat them in the season when they were going to host the Final so they had an extra incentive to try and win it.
But they came across us

It's that famous Spurs Factor again! Former Players and Managers of theirs that go on to finally win once they're performing for another Club.Danny's Dyer Acting wrote: ↑Wed May 31, 2023 11:26 pm Tottenham paid a large sum of money plus Erik Lamela for Gil.

And let's not forget that in the same season wee knocked the mighty City out of the cup they owned. Unfortunately Fiorentina will be up to the same antics, it's the footballing culture in Italy. Even happens in 5v5s with no ref around.

Re: Europa League Final (31st May 8pm)
call me paranoid but i was hoping roma win that. no chance in hell inter are beating man city so now there's conspiracy theories in my head about UEFA "letting them have" the little conference trophy as a consolation prize.Uptonogood247 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 12:47 am 3 Italian sides in 3 domestic European finals. Re: Europa League Final (31st May 8pm)
A game devoid of quality due in main to Roma's antics, shithousery to a new level! I did wonder if we are going to see that Weds, hopefully not to that level! I am hoping they all watched that and are mentally ready for the antics, IF it happens.
Thankfully best side won, and when Moyes does go I never want to see one of us say they want JM in our dugout. We do need to get a little nastier/up our dark arts (at times), but never to that level.

Yep, 5% possession, a deflection off Antonio's arse, and backs against the wall defending for 90mins won't matter a jot, if we win!

Should be banned for years. In fact throw Roma out of Europe next season, make an example of them.. cost them millions, no one will be likely to be have like that again.johnnyboy123 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 9:46 am Mourinho showing how classy he is, abusing the refs in the car park after the game:
