Re: FA Cup Final
Ir was a decent match and I quite enjoyed it. Not the greatest final there's ever been, but there can be no doubt the better team won
Online
As for Man City's 2nd , hmmm , I know De Gea may have been unsighted but the ball bobbled into the net , another poor show by the the Spaniard , he has to be off in the summer surely , needs a new Club to regain his confidence .
Watched the first half of the Celtic match but by then it was dinner time and I wasn't going to inflict that on Jen so we watched the Friday night comedies .

Thought he looked pretty good actually - don't think Manchester City will be bidding for our Declan .

Re: FA Cup Final
Why was “Pep” crying at the end?
They buy trophies every year - what was so special about this?
I’m developing a real irrational dislike for that man.

Liverpool, Man Utd and Chelsea all spend stupid amounts of money as well.Billydinho wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2023 9:43 pm Why was “Pep” crying at the end?

Re: FA Cup Final
But Manchester City’s is from corrupt inflated commercial gains & sponsorships deals that they as a club do not have the global status or global fan base to justify or support such revenue streams
Breaking FFP rules
It’s like us being bought out by rich state owned company and within a couple of years having larger sponsorship deals than Liverpool & Manchester United
Not possible

How else do you get the global status, otherwise?
Or is it just for the old guard? And that's it forevermore?
There's no other way is there? Even today you saw Man Utd getting some interesting decisions in their favour (i'm not crying corruption btw).
It's all very unappealing, but if the 'old lot' are pissed off and worried about their entitled trophies then that's fine by me.
f*** 'em.

Re: FA Cup Final
Used to be an all day event that I would mark in the calendar.
Watched one final in about the last 30 years.
A complete non event for me.

All of this.Larrakeyah Hammer wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2023 5:21 pm They take far far too long these days to go up & get the cup
The medals on ribbon look **** I miss the days of a medal in a box
The losing fans disappear so quickly these days
I still like the old way captain up first and lift the trophy

Congratulations to City.
My hatred towards Man ure grows with every season. Even the ref tried to help them win it.

Re: FA Cup Final
just watching the replays that took maybe 3 minutes to give the Red Mancs a pen.
and the commentary immediately after the appeal
"Fernandes right in the face of referee......."
so what's new with that pillock... he is one of my most HATED players......if not THE....
now it's only the highlights but how come Fred's challenge on KdB wasn't a pen ?
baffled.......by the way some effin' strike from Gundogan for the first, second not as good and de Gea should have done better....still so happy that some of those plastic entitled not even from Manchester fans went home crying in their flat beer..

Why wasn't Alan Smith commentating today? Feels like that dreary **** covers every match I ever watch.
