Arrived in Prague this afternoon. Ted Jnr and his missus landed shortly thereafter from Latvia. Great first night out in this lovely city and looking forward to some sightseeing tomorrow.

Can only echo comments of others not going. Enjoy the occasion! Safe passage, safe stay!
I’ve been looking at all options just to be there (I was there in Brussels with my late dad), but all were beyond my bank balance.
Savour every moment. Take loads of photos (I didn’t take a camera in ‘76). It’ll be a trip you’ll never forget. ⚒

Been here for a couple of nights and it’s getting crazier every hour.

Head for the Old Town centre.

Touched down in Prague shortly before midnight.

Apartment - home for myself and UtJ Jnr until Saturday - feels very "cold war". Three floors up and no bars or guards on the windows - H&S would have a field day here.

Off to find some fellow Hammers in the morning.

From my time in Prague years ago, there is a magnificent old pub/brewery dating back to the 1400s in and around the Old Town if I recall.
Living vicariously through all your photos/videos and the like from afar.
So excited for this.

I echo this ….I was also there in 1976 ….far too drunk to have taken pictures….but would love to see any

Chalks jnr number two is about to jump on a flight from Gatwick to Antalya then on to Prague, back Thursday night via Corfu

No ticket, no accom, just the bag on his back

Missed his connecting flight through a delay and has had to fork out another £130. Currently in Antalya waiting for the next Prague flight which is in 6 hours

Fortunately he’s met a few WH who are in the same situation so at least he’s not on his jack

BA allow for free flight changes on the day for the same route so now on the first flight out to Munich, will then get a train into Prague this afternoon instead of tomorrow lunchtime so can join in the festivities this evening. Munich hotel non refundable and need to find another one in Prague but at least I’ll be there today.

Weather looks a bit grim

Just opened that webcam and within a couple of minutes saw a West Ham fan wandering across the square bright and early!!
