Re: GTA VI
Looks great. Considering what was possible in GTA IV and V, the potential for VI is hard to imagine.
But a release date at least 15-18 months away means we have a ways to go.
I expect this thread to be a hive activity then.

Re: GTA VI
I don't mind a 15-18 month wait as long as it is actually finished when released, nobody wants another Fallout 76, Anthem, No Mans Sky etc

Re: GTA VI
It’s been so long since GTA V came out, but I still bust it out on the old Xbox 360 from time to time.

Re: GTA VI
I own GTAV on Xbox 360, PS4 and got the PS5 upgrade a few weeks back free with my PS+ account.
I fully intend to replay through it in the coming months, hyping myself up for VI.

Re: GTA VI
Anyone surprised? Delayed until May 2026, although I wouldn't bet on that either

Re: GTA VI
I'm not shocked. But I'm not particularly concerned either, as it allows me to save a few quid this year because so far, it's been an excellent year with still so much more to come that is confirmed.
Split Fiction
Blue Prince
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
DOOM The Dark Ages
Elden Ring Nightreign
Death Stranding 2
Ghost of Yotei
Off the top of my head there are the titles I either own or plan to buy in the next 12 months.
As well as this, I also plan to get a Switch 2 by Christmas for my kids. Every little (delay) helps.

Re: GTA VI
17 months between trailers must be some kind of record..?

Re: GTA VI
I hope it's worth the wait. I'm sure it will be, Rockstar know that this is probably the most anticipated game of all time.

Re: GTA VI
All that is running in engine. No bull**** switches with those cutscenes.
Technically it's looking like a work of art.

Although judging by the game we got, you probably wish you could

That'll take some doing. ES6 trailer only seven years old, currently!Gormalysis wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 12:51 pm Don't forget, Duke Nukem Forever, 14 years from announcement to release

Re: GTA VI
At least we know the likelihood of Rockstar emulating Gearbox in terms of that level of quality is practically nil.

Re: GTA VI
That’s fine, it starts to chill up right proper where I am and I’ll be more than happy to stay home over the holiday period and indulge.
