Best of luck to JLopz. I hope he proves the doubters wrong and is a huge success here, especially if he signs GIMENEZ.

Any KUMB members who want to protest at the use of J-Lo?

It needs clamping down on, and 10 year bans issued.

I’ve gone from being massively underwhelmed with the appointment to actually now being excited for next season.

Must say though it is key that this summers transfer business is bang on the money.

Good luck J-Lo! :scarfer:

I wish him nothing but victories, he will have my full backing, but can't help feeling a little underwhelmed.

I'm assuming he's still going to sign the deal imminently even if we're not announcing anything until after next week?

Just worried Man Utd or someone come calling :crylol:

Looking forward to seeing improvements he can make to the existing playing squad, in terms of mentality and tactically, and how he incorporates any new signings the club identifies and sets them up to get the most out of their ability.

Welcome Loppo :scarfer:

I know next to nothing about Julen Lopetegui other than his brief stint at Wolves .

One interesting aspect is him being an ex-Goalkeeper - was trying to think how many successful Managers were once Goalkeepers , does it affect the way they think , set up their teams , positions they consider important etc etc ??

The only other Managers who were once Goalkeepers I can come up with are Dino Zoff and Nuno Espirito Santo and I can't remember what type of Manager Zoff was .

Anyway , I'm rambling , I hope he continues the good work started by Moyes - hopefully he'll keep us challenging for a Top 8 place but more importantly get us playing a more attractive style of football West Ham fans demand .

Bienvenido a West Ham , Senor . :newthumb:

I think that's like most of us to be honest, hence the initial negative reaction to his appointment.

I already fear the new manager is considering the Conte type hair weave....

Not in my name.

Just listening to Geo’s interview of a couple of Wolves supporters. Definitely changes my opinion of the Guillem Ballegue association to Lopey. I did t realize he was such a mouthpiece for Lopetegui. They certainly cast a shadow on his character as well.

After being underwhelmed initially, I am very very excited by this. I have looked into him a bit more and what hes done and I do think this is a very good appointment and what we need. Cant wait for next season already! Just hope the recruitment is good for him as I think we can really progress if so.

Such a shame you can't read a X/Twitter thread without an account.

Is there a way to view it all that I don't know about?
