Yeah, but I'm going for songs I hate but which are by significant consensus considered decent numbers. It's a piece of piss to say to these threads, "Um, Shaddap You Face, The St. Winifred's School Choir, all of Ladbaby's Xmas no.1s, and all of Cliff's Christian output." Those novelty songs or songs aimed at pre-teens or octogenarians are easy meat. Let's see songs that we can't stand that might be more perplexing. I can't stand any of those songs. Like, really despise them. And they're so thematically similar that folk could be forgiven for thinking that I've done it deliberately; like, maybe I genuinely hated, say, two of them, saw the "sunshine" connection and just decided to dislike every other song remotely in that wheelhouse. But, no. I hate them all and only saw it for myself when I decided to keep a list of just these sorts of songs: Songs I hate which are generally perceived to be decent songs.
