When you sit twitching through a game you do get a somewhat distorted view though.
FWIW I thought Linda was superb today.
 harry has turned in to the poor mans jimmy tarbuck.
agree with linda he was very good in defense and attack. i have too confess that i really didnt see why we kept him after what i saw all last season , but for me has been very concicdent and hope it continues.

Carlton Cole was getting some serious praise from 5 Live. Steve Claridge asked the commentator "Have You seen him play at West Ham ? A totally different player away from home, he doesn't get the stick from the crowd."
Boo-boys take note.
I think it is a major point with Carlton and playing with more confidence away from home. I wish the element that boo's him would get real and remember we should support our players. I know some can have ***** games, what does booing acheive....thats kids stuff, and just brings heads down lower. Great point today i think.
Watched on tv so I won't bother doing a full report, I'll leave that to those who were there and had a better view.
However, from my view in front of the tv I thought we played well today and worked very hard. WHY oh why did Solano head that open goal when he could have chested/kicked/kneed/arsed it into the goal ffs!
My ratings fwiw:
Green-9 MOTM

Gabbidon-5
Upson-6
McCartney-8
Solano-6
Mullins-7
Noble-6
Boa Morte-5
Cole-8

According to Sultana sports "he has a slight injury".
CC had a good solid game, put in a lot of work, if anyone says different they are blinkered fools and need a punch in the face IMO. Also Sultana said CC would have got Man of the Match if Green had not just pipped him to it. What a save, he did the right thing there by bobbing about on the line, why don't they always do that...is very off putting.
What a darling. I am hoping too that we can hold on to him come January.
Rather concerned with Gabs.though not the player he was at all. Hesitant and making errors. Bring back Collins asap.

He was so good he actually got applauded off the pitch in the Monkhams Pub in Roding Valley - cant think of many times i've watched a game in a pub and a players performance - especially one so vilified - has been so well received and they've been applauded off the pitch.
Also, bear in mind he was playing against Distin and Campbell - probably one of the top centre half pairings in the league.
Kudos pretty much all round tho - Green, McCartney, Upson stood out for me. Noble much improved also.
Solano may have missed a couple but some of his crossing / corners / dead ball delivery was also different class.

Survived it,despite a few neanderthals looking a bit miffed when I cheered at the pen. save.
Solid performance that we should have come away with all 3 from,oh Nobby!
Can't really think of anyone who had a duff game which is pleasing.Thought Boa-Morte looked strong and threatened, defence looked solid and when they did break us down Green was superb.
MoM?Close between Green,Cole and Neil,but I'll go for Carlton.
very happy with the performance, we played better than last week against sunderland thats for sure. solano missed the sitters but he clearly brings better balance and width to the team + he is a good option from dead ball situations, therefore must keep his place over bowyer. Cole played well and set up both of solano's misses as well. Green - what a legend!

I'm glad you posted that because I hardly heard his name mentioned on the radio and some on here were saying he was crap.

Hes done that at UP too when the BML sing Englands No. 1. Hes turned and held 6 fingers up.
Would be great if it was just the one though and it wouldn't matter which finger it was
