Fulham 0-1 West Ham United

West Ham returned to winning ways following back-to-back defeats in China last week with a narrow victory at Craven Cottage against Championship side Fulham.
The only goal of the game arrived just 18 minutes into the game when Manuel Lanzini drifted in from the left before curling a sensational effort beyond Cottagers 'keeper Marcus Bettinelli.Embed from Getty Images
Hammers fans were given the first glimpse of new signings Pablo Fornals and Sebastien Haller with both starting against Scott Parker's side this afternoon.
And both acquitted themselves reasonable well, whilst Haller went particularly close to scoring his first goal since making a ??40million move from Eintracht Frankfurt in the second half.
Fulham, who were second best for much of the game played their part too and former Hammers transfer target Aleksandar Mitrovic caused problems throughout, without ever finding his finishing touch.
However Lanzini's strike (see below) was to ultimately prove the difference as the Hammers produced their second win of pre-season, to follow the 3-2 success in Austria against Altach earlier in the month.
