West Ham began pre-season in fine style scoring NINE goals in the two matches which kicked off simultaneously on Tuesday afternoon.
And key forwards Jarrod Bowen and Sebastien Haller were in fine form, notching as they did five of those nine goals between them.Haller, West Ham's record goalscorer bagged his first hat-trick in a West Ham shirt against the League One side while Grady Diangana provided an assist for two of his three at Portman Road.
Tomas Soucek scored the other West Ham goal on the day, sandwiched between second half efforts from the French forward, while former Hammers Academy star Freddie Sears grabbed a consolation for the home side.
Meanwhile the Hammers fared even better at Adams Park against Championship new boys Wycombe Wanderers, with Man of the Match Bowen grabbing a brace to cap an energetic performance.
West Ham's other goals on the day came from Arthur Masuaku, who opened the scoring inside five minutes with a thunderbolt, while a comical own goal and an effort from Manuel Lanzini ensured another comfortable win for the Hammers.
