West Ham United 3-5 AFC Bournemouth
Saturday, 5th September 2020
by Staff Writer
West Ham's pre-season came to an end in fairly humiliating fashion as David Moyes side conceded FIVE goals against Championship opposition at the London Olympic Stadium.
Less than 24 hours after Mark Noble took to social media in order to criticise the club's owners for selling Grady Diangana to West Bromwich Albion, the skipper and his team mates fell to an embarrassing defeat against a side relegated from the top flight just a matter of weeks earlier. The Cherries, minus former talisman Eddie Howe and a series of first team players were two up inside x minutes before easing to a comfortable win against a Hammers side who look bereft of confidence and enthusiasm.
And with the new Premier League campaign less than a week away, manager Moyes - who unusually failed to give a press conference after the game - must be wondering how he can lift his side in time for the season-opener against Newcastle.
