FA Cup
Bristol City 1-0 West Ham United

As was the case in the first tie in Stratford, the second tier side were fortunate to end the game with eleven men on the pitch following a string of poor challenges - yet it was the Hammers who ended up with only ten men.
Said Benrahma was sent off just six minutes into the second period after reacting to a dreadful, two-footed challenge from City's Williams - while the instigator only received a belated yellow.
That was just one of a series of challenges that, in other circumstances may well have resulted in a red card.
Aaron Cresswell also bizarrely received a caution from inept match offical Darren England after he reacted to being pushed to the floor immediately after Taylor Gardner-Hickman had taken a swing at him.
Meanwhile Danny Ings was the recipient of a potential ankle-breaker prior to that which also went unpunished.

Possibly a little slow to react to Mavropanos' under-hit backpass. That aside, had very little to do.
Vladimir Coufal
Poor on the night. Seemed more concerned by the physical confrontation than playing his game.
Emerson Palmieri
One of the better performers on the night, playing as he did in a more advanced role than he is perhaps used to.
Konstantinos Mavropanos
In his defence, it's possible the back pass was affected by the lengthy (cut-for-rugby) grass. But there can be no defence for pulling out of a header that could've levelled the scores.
Kurt Zouma
Looks less fit with each passing game. Way too slow to react to the incident which led to the goal. Reactive, not proactive as some might say - and you expect more from a pro of Zouma's pedigree.
Aaron Cresswell
Employed as the left of three central defenders, he didn't really put a foot wrong and was flabbergasted - as were we all - to be booked for having the temerity to complain about being clumped by one of Bristol's players, just one of several over-the-top challenges that went unpunished by referee England.
Tomas Soucek
Barely involved in a game in which you'd expect him to take it by the scruff of the neck. Unlucky not to score though, with a decent volley that produced O'Leary's only save of note.
James Ward-Prowse
As was the case at Southampton, he's the kind of player that allows others to thrive. Unfortunately there wasn't much in the way of thriving anywhere.
Said Benrahma
Produced very little and the petulant reaction to a nasty challenge - probably the only time he'll ever be mentioned in the same breath as David Beckham - ended West Ham's challenge. Looked like exactly what he is; a player living on borrowed time.
Maxwel Cornet
One good thing to come out of the game is that his lacklustre performance will probably end any further questioning of David Moyes' refusal to employ him more frequently.
Danny Ings
Quite possible West Ham's most involved and determined player, although even a snake would've had difficult doing the limbo so low was the bar set.
(Replaced Coufal 66) He gave it a good go, while those around him fell to pieces.
Callum Marshall
(Replaced Cresswell 80) Looked lively, would've been interesting to see him play for a little longer and alongside a more experienced pro like Danny Ings.
Divin Mubama
(Replaced Ings 81) Barely involved, continues to look a little like a fish out of water at this level in the few minutes he is afforded - but he is still developing.
Alphonse Areola

West Ham are out of the FA Cup after falling at the first hurdle against Championship side Bristol City.
The game was lost following an horrendous error by Konstantinos Marvopanos with just two minutes on the clock; the Greek central defender's underhit back pass being seized upon by Tommy Conway who rounded Lukasz Fabianski before firing into an empty net.As was the case in the first tie in Stratford, the second tier side were fortunate to end the game with eleven men on the pitch following a string of poor challenges - yet it was the Hammers who ended up with only ten men.
