Premier League
West Ham United 0-2 Crystal Palace

Graham Potter's side produced one of the worst performances witnessed by a West Ham team in recent years as they fell to a 2-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace.

The Hammers failed to create a single shot on target and touched the ball just SEVEN times in Palace's penalty box throughout the entire match.

And while Palace failed to produce much more, they did at least manage to find the back of the net - which was to prove sufficient to secure all three points.

Following a goalless opening 45 minutes, the visitors eventually took the lead two minutes after the restart when Jean-Philippe Mateta converted a pass from Eberechi Eze, which he slid under an advancing Lukasz Fabianski.

With West Ham reduced to ten men on 80 minutes when the error-strewn Konstantinos Mavropanos was dismissed for a second bookable offence, a second Palace goal always looked likely.

And it duly arrived in the final minute of normal time from the penalty spot, as Mateta doubled his tally for the day.

The win takes Palace above West Ham in the Premier League table. We'll have a full match report for you soon...
