West Ham United secured their first win in ten matches thanks to two moments of individual brilliance from Crysencio Summerville.
The Hammers, without a win since beating Burnley more than two months ago are through to the fourth round of the FA Cup after securing an extra time win against the Championship side.West Ham took the lead on the stroke of half time through Summerville, who made up for his disallowed goal against Nottingham Forest last week by firing the Hammers deservedly ahead.
However the same old defensive frailties were cruelly exposed once again as Richard Kone headed home Karamoko Dembele's cross on 65 minutes to send the tie into extra time.
And it was the Dutch winger who came to West Ham's rescue when supplying the perfect cross for new signing Taty Castellanos, which the Argentine international nodded firmly into the back of the net to secure a morale-boosting win for Nuno Santo's under fire squad.
