Wan-Bissaka began his career with Crystal Palace as a winger at the age of 11. He signed a professional contract with the club in December 2016.

On 25 February 2018, Wan-Bissaka made his first-team debut for Crystal Palace in a Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur at Selhurst Park. He was named as the club's Player of the Year for the 2018/19 season.

On 29 June 2019, Wan-Bissaka signed a five-year contract with fellow Premier League club Manchester United. Crystal Palace would receive an initial fee of ??45 million, with another ??5 million due in potential bonuses.

vs Arsenal

0-1: Saturday, 9th May
(Played 90 minutes)

After a rancid cameo last week, Wan-Bissaka was much improved here. His galloping runs down the line have been sorely missed, especially by Bowen, who looked improved for the presence of Wan-Bissaka.

vs Crystal Palace

0-0: Monday, 20th April

Did not play.

vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

4-0: Friday, 10th April

Did not play.

vs Aston Villa

0-2: Sunday, 22nd March
(Played 90 minutes)

Likes a direct winger, does not seem to handle playmakers who start out wide but play more like a number 10. If he was asked by the manager to follow him, that also didn't work, as he was often leaving a massive gap for Digne to bomb into. At some point, it feels like he will have to step up and improve in a way that allows Bowen to babysit him less.

vs Manchester City

1-1: Saturday, 14th March
(Played 90 minutes)

Maybe the one player you could question, he seemed to struggle at times with runners driving at him. It's no shame to find Doku hard to handle, but it just wasn't one of his better games.

vs Brentford

2-2: Monday, 9th March

(Walker-Peters 91') The side looked better with him on, he made confident and surging runs to relieve pressure, a smart move with his fresh legs against tiring opponents.

vs Fulham

1-0: Wednesday, 4th March
(Played 90 minutes)

Looked much more assured and kept his concentration at the back post. Banished a bad day at the office from the weekend.

vs AFC Bournemouth

0-0: Saturday, 21st February
(Played 90 minutes)

Faded drastically at the end, and probably should have been replaced, but defended well and gave a lot of support to attacks up the wing.

vs Manchester United

1-1: Tuesday, 10th February
(Played 90 minutes)

Two fantastic bits of defending probably saved goals on both occasions, and definitely in the case of the block on the line. Often considered asleep at the far post, these were both clear evidence of the opposite on the day.

vs Burnley

2-0: Saturday, 7th February
(Played 90 minutes)

Didn't offer the attacking presence he has in recent games, but defended well and saved a certain goal when the ball rolled to Edwards only yards out and with the goal gaping.

vs Chelsea

2-3: Saturday, 31st January
(Played 90 minutes)

His first half was arguably his best at the club, completely shutting down Garnacho in defence, covering the back post well on crosses, and then flying forward to threaten up the right wing.

vs Sunderland

3-1: Saturday, 24th January
(Played 90 minutes)

Looked assured defensively, having no troubles against either Sunderland left winger. Could have maybe done more going forward if you were being extremely critical.

vs Sunderland

3-1: Saturday, 24th January
(Played 90 minutes)

Hardly challenged on that wing, played comfortably within himself but didn't need to up his gear at all.

vs Tottenham Hotspur

2-1: Saturday, 17th January
(Played 90 minutes)

Not so prominent going forward but worked hard to minimise opportunities for Spurs.

vs Aston Villa

2-3: Saturday, 13th December
(Played 90 minutes)

Not a bad display, but he could have recovered better for the Rogers equaliser for 2-2.

vs Brighton & Hove Albion

1-1: Saturday, 6th December
(Played 90 minutes)

Offered a good attacking presence in the wing back role, and defended excellently throughout.

vs Manchester United

1-1: Wednesday, 3rd December
(Played 90 minutes)

An excellent performance, although he was lucky to stay on the pitch after a sliding challenge late on took Dorgu down when he was already on a yellow. A goal line clearance, some fantastic challenges and clearing headers.

vs Liverpool

0-2: Saturday, 29th November
(Played 90 minutes)

A little bit sloppy in all aspects, without being bad either. When Liverpool went deep, he should have been replaced, as Walker-Peters is better in possession when space is limited.

vs AFC Bournemouth

2-2: Saturday, 22nd November
(Played 90 minutes)

Solid enough, but nearly gave the game up by allowing a very good chance as he slept on a bouncing ball.

vs Burnley

3-2: Saturday, 8th November
(Played 90 minutes)

One excellent interception at the back saved the day, and kept Anthony quiet, a winger who's had a great start to the season. Had a very good game defensively.

vs Newcastle United

3-1: Saturday, 1st November
(Played 90 minutes)

His best performance of the season, freed by a midfield that could cover him, and some of his challenges higher up the pitch started promising attacks.

vs Leeds United

1-2: Saturday, 25th October
(Played 90 minutes)

It's a little harsh to blame him on the first goal, Aaronson reacted a touch quicker and exposed the lack of reaction in the West Ham defence. Had no business being at left back and instantly improved on the right.

vs Brentford

0-2: Saturday, 18th October
(Played 45 minutes, sub)

(Scarles 46') Offered more than Scarles, but didn't offer much.

vs Arsenal

0-2: Saturday, 4th October
(Played 90 minutes)

Struggled to get out and offer anything going forward, although it was interesting to watch how much more he marauds into central areas than Walker-Peters. Whether this is part of Nuno's instructions or just his natural play remains to be seen, and will be worth keeping an eye on.

vs Nottingham Forest

3-0: Sunday, 31st August

Did not play.

vs Chelsea

1-5: Friday, 22nd August
(Played 90 minutes)

As poor a defensive display as you'll see this season, Wan-Bissaka showed neither the concentration nor the desire required to defend against a better side. Allowed his man to go on all three of the first goals, then headed one out of his keeper's hands on goal five. Last season, he looked a bargain, but this might be the attitude that saw him a spare part at Manchester United

vs Sunderland

0-3: Saturday, 16th August
(Played 90 minutes)

Didn't make much impact on the game, but quick feet in possession and an eye for a pass meant he was still better than most.

vs AFC Bournemouth

2-0: Sunday, 3rd August
(Played 90 minutes)

Up and down the line all game, he was never really troubled and didn't make a big impression in attack. A worthy HOTY, a great first season.

vs Everton

2-1: Wednesday, 30th July
(Played 90 minutes)

Up and down the line all game, he was never really troubled and didn't make a big impression in attack. A worthy HOTY, a great first season.

vs Manchester United

1-2: Saturday, 26th July
(Played 90 minutes)

Up and down the line all game, he was never really troubled and didn't make a big impression in attack. A worthy HOTY, a great first season.

vs Ipswich Town

3-1: Sunday, 25th May
(Played 90 minutes)

Up and down the line all game, he was never really troubled and didn't make a big impression in attack. A worthy HOTY, a great first season.

vs Nottingham Forest

1-2: Sunday, 18th May
(Played 90 minutes)

Named HOTY before play, rightly so, and had a decent game, but it would have been better had he been on the side of Elanga, with Forest not really playing a classic left-sided attacking player to attack on his side.

vs Manchester United

2-0: Sunday, 11th May
(Played 90 minutes)

Seemed to really enjoy himself. One assist, one very good pass before Kudus's assist, and he defended excellently on both sides.

vs Tottenham Hotspur

1-1: Saturday, 3rd May
(Played 90 minutes)

Good assist, defended well high up the pitch.

vs Brighton & Hove Albion

2-3: Saturday, 26th April
(Played 90 minutes)

Threatened going forward, thriving again as a wing back. Another version of him down the left would make a big difference.

vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

0-1: Tuesday, 1st April
(Played 90 minutes)

Made some good moves forward, winning the ball for the Ferguson chance, putting a cross right on Bowen's head.

vs Newcastle United

0-1: Saturday, 8th March
(Played 90 minutes)

Lacked an attacking presence, and his work down the wing has been important this year.

vs Leicester City

2-0: Tuesday, 25th February
(Played 90 minutes)

The crowd has started to get excited when they see him in possession with space ahead of him. Wan-Bissaka looks confident, and relying on him to provide width is a better tactic now he's a wing-back, not a right back.

vs Brentford

0-1: Saturday, 15th February
(Played 90 minutes)

Probably the player whose game was most changed with the back four, from flying wing-back to a right back expected to slot into a three man defence when his side went forward. Made a couple important challenges, but does have a lazy streak when getting into shape.

vs Chelsea

1-2: Monday, 3rd February
(Played 90 minutes)

Failed to really make any impact going forward and looked tired late on. The own-goal was unlucky, but the defender also failed to get out to his man fast enough and then looked slow as he was taken on.

vs Aston Villa

1-1: Saturday, 25th January
(Played 90 minutes)

Had a very good match, up and down the right flank all game. Quick feet helped in packed areas, he carried distances to help the team, and threw in some good crosses. Some very key tackles also stood out, especially late on with the game stretched.

vs Fulham

3-2: Tuesday, 14th January
(Played 90 minutes)

Once again, a whole lot better going forward than defending. Will he ever prevent a cross coming in from his side?

vs Southampton

1-0: Thursday, 26th December
(Played 90 minutes)

Mr Versatile, who was seen popping up on the left wing and in central midfield at times brought plenty of energy to the team's forward thrusts. Defensively the highlight was one fantastic dispossessing tackle on Kyle Walker-Peters, the player West Ham tried to sign before turning to The Spider.

vs AFC Bournemouth

1-1: Saturday, 14th December
(Played 90 minutes)

Defended the left flank well, and probably should have come away with two assists.

vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

2-1: Saturday, 7th December
(Played 90 minutes)

Not so wildly flying forward and saw the left side exposed simply a few times.

vs Leicester City

1-3: Tuesday, 3rd December
(Played 90 minutes)

He's fine defensively on the left, but it really limits his forward work. Not exposed like his defensive teammates.

vs Arsenal

2-5: Saturday, 30th November
(Played 90 minutes)

A great finish, a bit of fight, and there's something quite enjoyable about watching him play this maverick football.

vs Newcastle United

2-0: Saturday, 23rd November
(Played 90 minutes)

He had lost his way in recent weeks, and caught the ire of many for his reaction on substitution against Everton, but this was much more like it, and a similar performance to his start against Palace. Looks better arriving into formed attacks rather than being an out ball and starting them. He also looked good on the underlap, with Bowen holding width.

vs Everton

0-0: Saturday, 9th November
(Played 66 minutes)

Solid, unspectacular, some good covering runs but also beaten by N'Diaye more often than he should.

vs Manchester United

2-1: Saturday, 26th October
(Played 90 minutes)

Got into the space that the system provides him, but also constantly saw his position and right back spot left open for wide attackers. Not sure he?EUR(TM)s a good enough attacking outlet to be worth making space for.

vs Tottenham Hotspur

1-4: Saturday, 19th October
(Played 90 minutes)

The right back defended well, and then when Kudus decided he was bored of playing - note, this is before he was even carded - Wan-Bissaka gamely tried to play the whole of the right side himself.

vs Ipswich Town

4-1: Saturday, 5th October
(Played 90 minutes)

Another solid performance with the right back an outlet, but it is clear he isn't ideal for the system he's being played in. Either poor habits or misunderstanding instructions is leaving him slotting into more central areas and leaving space wide.

vs Brentford

1-1: Saturday, 28th September
(Played 90 minutes)

Sloppy start, but recovered well and had another good half down the left. Clearly the most important full back at the club.

vs Chelsea

0-3: Saturday, 21st September
(Played 90 minutes)

By no means anywhere near the worst offender in this team, and close to Kudus as the only ones who seemed to have their own personal standards. But he's not really a wing back, and once Chelsea worked out our pressing structure, he was left playing as a wing back who didn't press high.

vs Fulham

1-1: Saturday, 14th September
(Played 90 minutes)

Not good enough on the ball today. Consistently just too short or too sloppy with possession.

vs Manchester City

1-3: Saturday, 31st August
(Played 90 minutes)

Solid, but struggled at times with who to pick up and what his starting position should be as City looked to make runs between centre back and full back.

vs AFC Bournemouth

1-0: Wednesday, 28th August
(Played 90 minutes)

Let a man down the side once, and that looked mostly because he couldn't tackle with his natural foot playing on the wrong side. A marauding full back who defends excellently.

vs Crystal Palace

2-0: Saturday, 24th August
(Played 28 minutes, sub)

(Replaced Coufal, 62) The perfect cameo. He instantly changed opinions on him by coming on and dribbling with speed, skill and confidence, beating players with deft footwork as much as pure pace. It' not just that he could do it, it's that his reputation suggests not only can he not, but that he doesn't look forward either. That was proven wrong, as his first thought was about progressing the play. He flew forward for the opener, but was on the overlap for Bowen's goal, too. Great debut.
