Cardiff City
2-0: Thursday, 3rd MayDid not play.
Reading
2-4: Saturday, 31st MarchGiven a hard time by Foy who offered little protection from Roberts’ elbows. If his first touch had been better his leg wouldn’t have been out there for Hunt to fall over.
Leeds United
1-1: Saturday, 17th MarchSolid as a rock. Won everything in the air and the Leeds frontmen couldn’t find a way past him. MOTM.
Doncaster Rovers
1-1: Saturday, 10th MarchBy and large he had an ok game but he really should have done a bit more to close down Diouf for their goal.
Doncaster Rovers
1-1: Saturday, 10th MarchSolid enough, but yet again the defence leaked an unnecessary goal.
Watford
1-1: Wednesday, 7th MarchCoped ably with what little Watford threw in his direction; some suggestion that it was his unfortunate deflection that led to the Hornets goal.
Cardiff City
2-0: Sunday, 4th MarchOutstanding. If he missed anything I can't remember it. Superb.
Crystal Palace
0-0: Saturday, 25th FebruaryHad to deal with our opponents almost single handed in the middle until Reid turned up. Some fine defending, though I’ll admit to having slight panic attacks when he elects to play the ball out of a tricky spot rather than lamping it one.
Blackpool
4-1: Wednesday, 22nd FebruaryAnother sound defensive display before going off injured midway into the second half. Hopefully the injury isn’t bad as he and Reid our building a good understanding at the back.
Southampton
1-1: Tuesday, 14th FebruaryVery good, especially after being on a booking for the entire second half. Loses nothing in the air and a leader at the back.
Millwall
2-1: Saturday, 4th FebruaryImmense throughout barring the one mistake that led to the Millwall equaliser. Won everything in the air and would have been my MOTM but for the error. Good to see he’s a more than able replacement for Reid and Tomkins.

Nottingham Forest

Portsmouth
1-0: Saturday, 14th JanuaryDid not play.
Burnley
1-2: Saturday, 3rd DecemberPut in some really important challenges and made some vital tackles. But was he at fault for either goal?
Derby County
3-1: Saturday, 26th NovemberAn unheralded player he was nevertheless quite superb today. Won the ball, controlled it, laid it off.
Coventry City
2-1: Saturday, 19th NovemberA good game despite the usually illegal attentions of Jukiewicz.
Hull City
2-0: Saturday, 5th NovemberSuperb. Powerful in the air and got in a number of vital blocks. Just shaded for my MOTM by Green but it was damned close.
Crystal Palace
2-2: Saturday, 1st OctoberGenerally solid though at both goals he was guilty of not getting close enough to his man.
Ipswich Town
0-1: Tuesday, 27th SeptemberOk defensively but we need better distribution from him.
Peterborough
1-0: Saturday, 24th SeptemberA most promising full home debut. The veteran centre-half barely put a foot wrong and kept it simple throughout. Will be challenging Tomkins and Reid for a starting berth at this rate.
Portsmouth
4-3: Saturday, 10th SeptemberDid not play.
Nottingham Forest
4-1: Sunday, 28th August(Replaced Collison, 75) Introduced when the score was 3-1 to protect the lead, he was solid as a rock.
Watford
4-0: Tuesday, 16th August(Replaced Tomkins, 68 mins) Looked solid, if not a little heavy. Runs and stands as though his knees are going to shatter at any minute. I was half tempted to give him a 10, just for that one tackle alone!
Doncaster Rovers
1-0: Saturday, 13th AugustDid not play.
