Arsenal

Arsenal
2-0: Sunday, 9th AugustSurprisingly only had one or two important saves to make, as his defence did a great job in front of him.

3-0: Thursday, 2nd JulyIt would not be right to say that we'd have lost were it not for... I'm sure Jussi would have done equally as well. But the man between the sticks has to stay alert through dullish periods, and do his job when the time comes. Adrian did. And he saved the penalty and so nearly got to the rebound. Dammit!
Newcastle United
0-2: Sunday, 24th MayIt would not be right to say that we'd have lost were it not for... I'm sure Jussi would have done equally as well. But the man between the sticks has to stay alert through dullish periods, and do his job when the time comes. Adrian did. And he saved the penalty and so nearly got to the rebound. Dammit!
Everton
1-2: Saturday, 16th MayIt would not be right to say that we'd have lost were it not for... I'm sure Jussi would have done equally as well. But the man between the sticks has to stay alert through dullish periods, and do his job when the time comes. Adrian did. And he saved the penalty and so nearly got to the rebound. Dammit!
Aston Villa
0-1: Saturday, 9th MayCouldn't do anything about the goal, and didn't have a whole lot else to do.
Burnley
1-0: Saturday, 2nd MayIs the ninth keeper in the PL to save three consecutive penalties, apparently. No-one's ever done four. May he wait long for a chance to set a new record! Made a couple of good stops. Bar one moment when he changed his mind about coming for a cross, was otherwise faultless.

Queens Park Rangers
0-0: Saturday, 25th AprilOne save in the first minute, one in the last, the penalty in between, and a couple of other decent stops too. It's tempting to give Burke MotM but... Naaah!
Manchester City
0-2: Sunday, 19th AprilIt would not be right to say that we'd have lost were it not for... I'm sure Jussi would have done equally as well. But the man between the sticks has to stay alert through dullish periods, and do his job when the time comes. Adrian did. And he saved the penalty and so nearly got to the rebound. Dammit!
Leicester City
1-2: Saturday, 4th AprilDidn't have a lot to do, in all honesty. Brilliant penalty save, though, and unlucky not to stop their second.
Sunderland
1-0: Saturday, 21st MarchOnly had one real save to make. And that was going wide.
Arsenal
0-3: Saturday, 14th MarchCouldn't do anything about the three goals, but stopped everything else!
Chelsea
0-1: Wednesday, 4th MarchCrystal Palace
1-3: Saturday, 28th FebruaryBlameless. Made a couple of sharp, if ultimately routine, stops; couldn't do anything much about any of the goals.
Tottenham Hotspur
2-2: Sunday, 22nd FebruaryIt would not be right to say that we'd have lost were it not for... I'm sure Jussi would have done equally as well. But the man between the sticks has to stay alert through dullish periods, and do his job when the time comes. Adrian did. And he saved the penalty and so nearly got to the rebound. Dammit!
West Bromwich Albion
0-4: Saturday, 14th FebruaryThe sort of day that goalkeepers hate - sod all chance to look good, sod all chance at stopping any of the goals...
Southampton
0-0: Wednesday, 11th FebruaryManchester United
1-1: Sunday, 8th FebruaryMade a couple of decent saves, went long periods without anything to do.
Liverpool
0-2: Saturday, 31st JanuaryRarely called upon, this was one of the easier days Adrian will enjoy - although his command of his area remains a slight concern.
Bristol City
1-0: Sunday, 25th JanuaryRarely called upon, this was one of the easier days Adrian will enjoy - although his command of his area remains a slight concern.
Hull City
3-0: Sunday, 18th JanuaryHad to be alert in the first half, especially in the first quarter of the game. In truth, though, didn't have a heck of a lot to do.
Hull City
3-0: Sunday, 18th JanuaryOne duff kick in the first hale. One good save in the second. Largely unemployed otherwise.
Hull City
3-0: Sunday, 18th JanuaryBarely had a save to make. Which was fine, after his heroics of Tuesday night.
Everton
2-2: Tuesday, 13th JanuaryYes, only 6 for the hero of the night. Penalties are a lottery. Tonight, the lottery allowed him to redeem himself for their equaliser. He didn't have a lot else to do.
Everton
2-2: Tuesday, 13th JanuaryThe hero of the night, so we'll ignore his questionable positioning for Mirallas' equaliser.
Swansea
1-1: Saturday, 10th JanuaryNot a great deal to do today bar one fingertip save in the first half from Sigurdsson. Little he could do about the goal.
Swansea
1-1: Saturday, 10th JanuaryNothing to do, mostly shots at the Spanish stopper and picked the ball from his net once.
Everton
1-1: Tuesday, 6th JanuaryA quieter game than of late. Had a couple of awkward saves to make, neither of which he could hold, and a couple more comfortable.
Everton
1-1: Tuesday, 6th JanuaryNot a great deal to do; made one good save from Barkley but there were a couple of fumbles too.
West Bromwich Albion
1-1: Thursday, 1st JanuaryThe pick of a poor bunch, again. Two great saves, little he could do about the goal.
Arsenal
1-2: Sunday, 28th DecemberBeaten to MotM only by Amalfitano. Showed all his good qualities & none of the bad.
Chelsea
0-2: Friday, 26th DecemberNotwithstanding a moment of temperament today, our best player.
Leicester City
2-0: Saturday, 20th DecemberWent a little too early for the penalty but redeemed himself with a stunning save five minutes from time.
Sunderland
1-1: Saturday, 13th DecemberKicking was poor in the first 20, and didn't do at all well with the penalty. However, he was generally safe for the rest of the game & pulled off a couple of very good saves to keep the scores level.
Sunderland
1-1: Saturday, 13th DecemberWent a little too early for the penalty but redeemed himself with a stunning save five minutes from time.
Swansea
3-1: Sunday, 7th DecemberNo chance with the goal, little else to do, apart from a couple of comfortable saves.
Swansea
3-1: Sunday, 7th DecemberNo chance with the goal but his main challenge was keeping warm.
West Bromwich Albion
2-1: Tuesday, 2nd DecemberA reluctant 7, since he showed his nasty, petulant aside again. Those two very good reaction saves kept us in front, though, and his kicking off the floor was much better than against Everton.
West Bromwich Albion
2-1: Tuesday, 2nd DecemberA couple of scary moments as per dealing with aerial deliveries, but he redeemed himself with a stunning reflex save at his near post then another at the death.
Newcastle United
1-0: Saturday, 29th NovemberWon't sleep well tonight, having had a nap for 90 minutes. On the other hand, he's Spanish, so perhaps he's used to a mid-afternoon siesta!
Newcastle United
1-0: Saturday, 29th NovemberI vaguely remember one very comfortable save but he was mainly as much of a spectator as I was.
Everton
1-2: Saturday, 22nd NovemberNo chance with either goal, one good save in the first minute, comfortable with everything else except clearing backpasses.
Aston Villa
0-0: Saturday, 8th NovemberUnlike Stoke, had little to do.
Aston Villa
0-0: Saturday, 8th NovemberOne dodgy moment in the first half. One meaningful save and I swear he didn't touch the ball in the last 20 minutes.
Stoke City
2-2: Saturday, 1st Novembertbc
Manchester City
2-1: Saturday, 25th OctoberA couple of instinctive reaction saves, and a spectacular though comfortable one from longer range. Kept us in it in the first half last week, kept us ahead this week!
Manchester City
2-1: Saturday, 25th OctoberNeeded to be at his best. And was. Made at least three top notch saves at vital moments in the game.
Burnley
3-1: Saturday, 18th OctoberUnlike a few others, a seven in the first half, but a five in the second for dropping a b*llock.
Burnley
3-1: Saturday, 18th OctoberApart from the first 15 minutes or so it wasn't his busiest afternoon, though, although fouled, he might have done better for their goal.
Queens Park Rangers
2-0: Sunday, 5th OctoberHad little enough to do, but made a good save from Austin halfway through the first half and held it. Did equally well to palm a free kick around the post at the same point in the second. First clean sheet of the season!
Queens Park Rangers
2-0: Sunday, 5th OctoberHe'll have busier days but when required he was not found wanting.
Manchester United
1-2: Saturday, 27th Septembertbc
Liverpool
3-1: Saturday, 20th SeptemberOnly had a couple of saves to make. A bit concerned at his reaction to Balotelli's niggly foul which left him only a scouse dive away from a dismissal.
Southampton
1-3: Saturday, 30th AugustCouldn't do anything about the goals. Made a couple of decent saves.
Southampton
1-3: Saturday, 30th AugustLet down by those in front of him. A couple of half-decent saves.
Crystal Palace
3-1: Saturday, 23rd AugustLargely untroubled but solid when called upon.
Crystal Palace
3-1: Saturday, 23rd AugustCouldn't do anything about Chamakh's good finish, relatively untroubled apart from that. I shall be happy to award him 6 all season long on that basis!
Stoke City
1-3: Saturday, 15th MarchNorwich City
2-0: Tuesday, 11th FebruaryThree excellent saves, but on two of them, Hooper made it easier than he should have. Which is why Tomkins beats him to MotM. Also thought he might have held Norwich's first chance on 9 minutes.
Aston Villa
2-0: Saturday, 8th FebruaryQuick off his line again on the one occasion he needed to be, he had little enough to do, despite Villa's pressure in the last 20 minutes or so.
Swansea City
2-0: Saturday, 1st FebruaryLittle to do in the way of shot-stopping but he commanded the box well. Confidence in your 'keeper is handy for a back four.
Swansea City
2-0: Saturday, 1st FebruaryQuick off his line when needed; otherwise had little to worry about or do.
Cork City
6-2: Sunday, 7th JulyComments to follow.
