Albian Ajeti signed for West Ham on transfer deadline day in August 2019.
The big striker - who was touted as one of Switzerland's brightest young stars - Arrived in England having scored an impressive 29 goals in 58 starts for his former club Basel.
Ajeti made his professional debut for the Swiss club as a substitute in March 2014. Approximately two years later, in January 2016, he joined German club FC Augsburg with whom he signed a four-and-a-half year contract.
He was loaned to St. Gallen on a season-long loan with an option buy ahead of the 2016?EUR"17 season - at the end of which the Swiss Super League side triggered the purchase clause. But after just seven appearances in his second season with St. Gallen he returned to Basel with whom he aagreed a five-year contract.
Ajeti was granted the number 27 shirt upon his arrival in England. He was Manuel Pellegrini's sixth and final signing of the summer.
He left West Ham in August 2020, joining reigning Scottish champions Celtic in a deal worth in the region of ??4.5million.
