Orford joined the Academy when only five years old, while also representing Upminster Park Rovers, before formally registering for West Ham at the age of eight. He worked through the age groups and became a member of the Under 18s squad during the 2021/22 season.
Orford signed scholarship terms with West Ham in June 2022 before signing his first professional contract shortly after his seventeenth birthday in February 2023.
He was promoted to the Under 21s for the 2023/24 season despite still being only 17 years old, scoring two goals and creating four assists from his first ten games in the Premier League 2 and EFL Trophy.
Orford travelled with the first-team squad for the UEFA Europa League fixture against FK TSC in November 2023 and made his senior debut for West Ham in a January 2025, 2?EUR"0 defeat against Crystal Palace.
On 1 September 2025 (transfer deadline day), Orford completed a season-long loan to League One side Stevenage FC.
