West Ham's Paul Konchesky has been included in the 22-man England squad to face Argentina in the forthcoming friendly.

The 24-year-old left-back received his first international call-up since making his debut in the 3-2 defeat against Australia at Upton Park in 2003.

Konchesky is one of four changes to Eriksson's squad, named this evening; the other 'new' faces being former Hammers David James and Michael Carrick, whilst Chelsea's left-back Wayne Bridge also returns after a lengthy lay-off through injury.

Konchesky replaces Arsenal's Ashley Cole who is injured.

England face Argentina in Geneva next Saturday afternoon. The game kicks off at 4.45pm GMT.
