Injury latest

The Hammers will give late fitness tests to several key players currently struggling to recover from injury in time for Saturday's match at Chelsea.

Shaka Hislop, Rio Ferdinand, Frank Lampard and Steve Lomas are all still only 50/50 at best for the season curtain raiser at Stamford Bridge. Hammers boss Harry Redknapp will leave it until as late as possible before making a decision either way on the quartet.

Some good news though - John Moncur and Davor Suker are both expected to be available following injury scares earlier this week.
