Mitchell's OS dream

Canning Town fighter Kevin Mitchell says he wants to make the Olympic Stadium his 'home ground'.

The 26-year-old lightweight is one of those looking forward to West Ham United's move to the Olympic Stadium three years from now - and says that given the opportunity, he'd like to fight there for future world titles.

Mitchell - who takes on John Murray for the vacant WBO intercontinental crown at London's ExCeL this weekend - told Sportsvibe's Josh Modaberi: "I think it's a brilliant move. West Ham fans are the best in the world and I think we'll sell it out.

"When they said West Ham were moving to the Olympic Stadium I thought straight away, a couple of years from now, once I've won the World title perhaps I can start defending it at the Olympic stadium.

"It'll be brilliant. Perhaps it'll be my home territory; I can see it happening. Once I've got that World title I can definitely see the Olympic Stadium being my home place."
