Matt Taylor and Freddie Sears both struck as West Ham signed off pre-season with a win.

Sam Allardyce saw his West Ham side comfortably win his first ever game at the Boleyn Ground with an assured performance against a ring-rusty Zaragoza side, playing their first competitive match of pre-season.

Midfielder Taylor's first goal for West Ham was the difference between the two teams at the half-time break in this afternoon's friendly. Sears added a decisive second in the final minute of normal time to give Allardyce's side a well-deserved victory.
