French firm win OS management rights

French operating company Vinci Stadium have been appointed as the new managers of the Olympic Stadium.

Vinci, who current operate a number of stadiums including the Stade de France in Paris, the Allianz Riviera in Nice and the New Bordeaux Stadium were confirmed as the stadium's new owners by London mayor Boris Johnson this morning.

Karren Brady, West Ham United's vice-chair said: "“Managing the basic day-to-day operations at a Premier League football stadium is a unique challenge.

"We will be passing on our extensive experience and expertise to Vinci to ensure they provide the same high levels of service our supporters have become accustomed to at the Boleyn Ground."
