Mark Noble has thanked West Ham for granting him a testimonial to make a decade at the club.

It was revealed this afternoon that Noble was to be honoured with a testimonial on Easter Monday to mark his 11 years' service with West Ham, whom he first joined at the age of 13. And the 28-year-old has responded by thanking the club's owners via Twitter.

"What an honour," he wrote. "Thank-you to the chairman for granting me a testimonial for March 28th, blood sweat and tears for this amazing club."

Noble's testimonial - the proceeds from which will go to various charities - takes place at the Boleyn Ground on (Easter) Monday, 28 March.

Chairman David Gold told whufc.com: "Mark has been a tremendous servant to West Ham United both on the field and off it and this testimonial match is recognition of the long and dignified career he has enjoyed in a claret and blue shirt.

"It is a mark of the man that he will donate all the proceeds from this match to three charities that mean so much to him and to everyone at the club."
