West Ham's faint hopes of securing a European spot remain alive tonight after a 3-1 win against a distinctly lacklustre Watford at the Boleyn Ground.

Slaven Bilic's side secured their first Premier League win in five against a Hornets side with one eye on this weekend's FA Cup semi final, thanks to an Andy Carroll opener and two penalties from Mark Noble.

Sebastian Prodl grabbed a second half consolation for Watford and although Troy Deeney was awarded the third spot kick of the game deep into injury time, Adrian saved for the Hammers to maintain West Ham's two-goal advantage at the final whistle.
