West Ham United's Dimitri Payet has been named in the Professional Footballer Association's Team of the Year for 2015/16.

The 29-year-old Hammer, who has enjoyed a thoroughly-productive first season at the club is one of only three players not at Leicester City or Tottenham to be nominated in the select XI.

In addition to goalkeeper David De Gea - who Payet embarrassed at Old Trafford in the FA Cup last month with a trademark 30-yard free kick - Arsenal full back Hector Bellerin has been named in the team.

However it is a selection dominated by the Premier League's current top two, with four players from each included. Leicester's Wes Morgan, N'Golo Kante, Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy join Tottenham's Danny Rose, Toby Alderweireld, Dele Alli and Harry Kane in this year's PFA select.
