We are delighted to confirm that the second star guest to appear at next week's KUMB Live Podcast & Awards show is former Hammer Anton Ferdinand!

Ferdinand signed his first professional contract with West Ham United at the age of 17 back in 2002 during the Glenn Roeder era, before going on to make 163 first team appearances for the club.

He will join former team mate Marlon Harewood plus KUMB Podcast hosts Chris Scull and Bianca Westwood - who co-compared this week's closing ceremony at the Boleyn Ground - at the event, which takes place at the Cow, Stratford Westfield next Tuesday evening (17 May).

The two players featured together in the first team under both Alan Pardew and Alan Curbishley, before Ferdinand joined Sunderland in 2008 and Harewood moved to Aston Villa at the end of the 'Great Escape' 2006/07 season.

The KUMB Live Podcast & Awards XIX show will feature an interview with both players plus an (off the record!) audience Q&A session. The results of the 19th annual KUMB Awards - as voted for by readers of Knees up Mother Brown - will also be revealed on the night.

To purchase tickets for the event - priced £18, and of which very few remain, so be quick! - go to Eventbrite.

* The KUMB West Ham Podcast is produced and presented by Chris Scull and Bianca Westwood and is recorded (mostly) on a weekly basis throughout the football season (August to May).

Previous guests have included a whole host of former West Ham United players and figures associated with the club plus a plethora of famous fans such as Russell Brand, James Corden, Danny Dyer and Irving Welsh.

* The KUMB Awards have been voted for on an annual basis since 1997.

The twelve categories in whioch readers are asked to nominate are 'Player of the Year', 'Young Player of the Year', 'Goal of the Season', 'Most Memorable Match', 'Best Signing', 'Most Improved Player', 'Most Missed', 'Worst Player of the Season', 'Worst Signing of the Season', 'Greatest Disappointment', 'Podcast Guest of the Year' and the always hotly-contended 'Hackett of the Year'.

* This year's event is the third live annual show to be staged by the KUMB Podcast team. In 2013/14 Frank McAvennie and Martin Allen were the star guests at the East Ham Working Men's Club, whilst Jimmy Walker and Rufus Brevett joined the KUMB team at The Cow last May.

Once again, tickets for the show may be purchased for £18 each from Eventbrite.
