Clyde Best, one of the first black players to represent West Ham United will tell the story of his fascinating journey in a new book coming out later this year.
The as-yet-untitled retrospective looks back at Best's career as a professional player in both the UK and abroad, plus his subsequent career as a football administrator.And by way of a little bonus to Hammers fans, publishers deCoubertin Books are asking supporters to send in questions for the big man which will appear in the book's appendix.

He became part of the first black triumverate - alongside Clive Charles and Ade Coker - to feature in a top-flight English team when West Ham beat Tottenham 2-0 on April Fools' Day 1972
