The Euros are one of football’s biggest tournaments, which no football fan wants to miss. However due to the timing of some of the fixtures, a lot of the games played in the group stages kick off whilst you’ll be at work. Nightmare!

But fear not. Clubline Football have come up with this awesome infographic that’ll give you all the tricks to pull off the perfect sickie.

Now you can’t just roll up to work and announce you’re going to be off for the next two months. That’s too obvious. What you need to do is prepare for the perfect sickie.

First you’ll need to put in the groundwork, research illnesses and brush up on your acting skills as all of these are essential to pulling this off.

In this infographic we’ll show you how to do those things, as well as faking a doctor’s note, what NOT to do whilst off work and what to do once you get back.

We’ll also give you some tips on how to watch the match if you can’t get out of work, what to do if your partner is forcing you to go to an event and also some great tips on how to get rid of your other half whilst you enjoy the footy...
