Frank Lampard Snr has called on West Ham not to forget their local roots now that life has begun in the Olympic Stadium.

In an exclusive interview in August's issue of Blowing Bubbles Monthly, which will be handed out for FREE to 10,000 fans going to the Juventus game on Sunday, one of the club's greatest servants said local roots have always been key to West Ham’s success.

And no-one embodies that more in Lampard’s eyes than captain Mark Noble.

"He’s a great example to any youngsters watching," he told Blowing Bubbles. "He’s a local lad, like I was – I caught the bus to the ground to make my debut – and having people like that in the team really matters."

Elsewhere in this month's issue there are interviews with captain Mark Noble, ex Hammer Chris Powell and England Ladies' captain Ellen White.

People going to the Juventus game will be able to pick up one of 10,000 hard copies being handed out for free near The Cow in Westfield.
