The agent of Inter winger Jonathan Biabiany has revealed that his client would be interested in joining West Ham this summer.

The 28-year-old winger was on the verge of a move to Chelsea during the last transfer window when manager Antonio Conte tried to bring him to London, but opted instead to remain in Milan for the rest of the season.

Speaking earlier today, Biabiany's agent David Bega told calciomercato.com that the Paris-born star was still interested in a move to the Premier League - specifically citing West Ham as one potential "welcome destination".

And speaking about the earlier interest from Chelsea, he added: "Antonio Conte spoke to Jonathan to try to convince him [to sign for Chelsea], but it was too late to go in the Premier League.

"The request came late Sunday night, the market closed on Tuesday night and there was no time."

Biabiany - who has also been linked with a move to fellow Serie A side Palermo - was also courted by an unnamed Chinese club during January, although Bega refused to rule out a later move to the Far East.

"It could be an idea," he admitted, "however [in January] it didn't materialise."

Biabiany - who was diagnosed with cardiac dysrhythmia (an irregular heartbeat) three years ago - signed a four-year contract with Milan in 2015, tying him to the club for another two years.
