West Ham Utd 1-2 Chelsea

A mistake either side of the break cost West Ham dearly in tonight's London derby at the Olympic Stadium.

Eden Hazard took advantage of some ponderous play by Mark Noble and Robert Snodgrass in the first half to given Chelsea a 29th minute lead following a superbly-crafted counter attack.

And Pedro Obiang's mis-timed header from a corner put one on a plate for Diego Costa, who extended Chelsea's lead five minutes into the second period.

West Ham managed to claw one back as the game entered the third of four added-on minutes as Manuel Lanzini - one of few Hammers to take any credit from their performance - got his reward for a spirited display.

However it was to prove too late for Slaven Bilic's side to mount an unlikely comeback, as they slumped to yet another defeat at the Olympic Stadium - where West Ham have now lost as many Premier League matches as they have won.
