West Ham have taken League One Shrewsbury Town to a reply after holding out for a goalless draw at New Meadow this afternoon.

The Hammers, featuring a string of young players barely threatened the Shrews' goal in this afternoon's 3rd round FA Cup tie, creating just four efforts at goal - only two of which were on target.

However the hosts were little better in front of goal, with Joe Hart - who had to borrow a supporter's cap in the opening half due to a low sun - rarely called into action.
